Welcome to Wharton Lodge
Surrounded by parkland and manicured gardens, our three cottages - Elgar, Grosvenor and Harewood - sit around a quiet courtyard three miles from the market town of Ross-on-Wye.
Each has a character of its own, and every stay begins the same way: fresh flowers on the table, a welcome hamper on the side, and nothing you have to do next except put the kettle on.

Listen to water falling in the walled garden, unwind with a book in the glasshouse, or stroll the parkland as the sun sets over the tree-covered hills.
Beyond the gate: the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, castles at Goodrich, Eastnor and Chepstow, and everything from kayaking and paddle boarding to GoApe.
We are dog lovers ourselves - Grosvenor and Harewood welcome one well-behaved dog by prior arrangement, with walks in every direction.

“Excellent in every way - spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very well equipped.”
“If you do book, book a day or two extra, because you'll not want to leave.”
